Seth Godi is an American author and former executive. He’s the founder and former owner of Seth Godin productions. He’s also the founder of both Yoyodyne and Squidoo, both successful ventures in their own right.
Seth Godin is more notably known for his best selling books in marketing. These days, he focuses heavily on talking about branding, digital marketing, and lead generation strategies for small businesses.
Essentially, Godin likes to read and write about everything and anything. He’s published 20 books and each of them go very deep into a concept that covers a variety of different topics.

Born in Mount Vernon, New York on July 10th 1961, Author, Marketing Consultant and entrepreneur Seth Godin has an estimated networth of $50 million.
After graduating from Tufts University and earneing his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Godin was a brand manager at Spinnaker Software from 1983 to 1986. He then founded Seth Godin Productions in 1986, Yoyodyne in 1995, and Squidoo in 2005. Both Yoyodyne and Squidoo were sold later on to Yahoo! And HubPages respectively.
Interestingly, it’s been popularly documented that Godin had sold Yoyodyne for $30 million dollars but it is currently unknown as to just how much he sold Squidoo for.
Godin lives with his wife Helene and their 2 sons in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
His own bio says that for the past 30 years, Godin has been trying to turn on lights and inspire people to be more and attain more food themselves.
In 2015, he created altMBA, which is a 31-day online leadership workshop founded in 2015. They aim to celebrate our shared humanity and provide students with the skills that they need to become and turn into impactful leaders and make meaningful changes within the world.

In 2018, Godin was inducted into the American Marketing Association’s Hall of Fame.
