Hot Wheels is a brand of Toy Car manufactured by American toy maker Mattel since 1968. Many car companies have licensed Hot Wheels to make models of their cars, allowing them to use the original design blueprints. 1969 Pink, Rear-Loading Beach Bomb – $175,000
This proto-type had been in the possession of a Mattel employee since it was manufactured, but was finally sold to a collector at auction. It features surfboards that load through the back window. Only 2 Pink versions were ever made, though a few additional copies, in different colors, have surfaced at collector auctions.
